CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A young boy was killed Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle while trying to cross a busy roadway in Chesapeake, police said.
Officers were called to the 3200 block of South Military Highway around 6:22 p.m. on December 12, 2025, in response to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
According to investigators, a 9-year-old boy entered the roadway and was struck by a passing vehicle. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he later died…
