BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A 21-year-old man from California was taken into custody following a pursuit with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office that led to a crash on Monday night.
The sheriff’s office confirmed Jordan Vegarosas, 21, of Los Angeles, was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center on the following charges:
- aggravated flight from an officer
- aggravated assault
- resisting an officer
- simple possession of marijuana
Deputies pulled over Vegarosas, who was driving a Ford Mustang, for traffic violations on U.S. 190.
