LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Police Chief Michon Morrow and AARP Nebraska volunteers Tuesday announced a new city ordinance aimed at protecting older adults from cryptocurrency scams.
According to LPD, crypto scams have increased from 49 cases in 2021 to more than 100 in 2025, with Lincolnites losing more than $11 million to scammers.
