SHREVEPORT, La. — For Alma and Curtis Johnson, who have lived on Washington Lane in west Shreveport for nearly 40 years, a proposed data center planned just hundreds of feet from their home has raised serious concerns.
“I’m home all the time. I’m at peace in my house, and I don’t want to be disturbed at my own home at my age,” Alma Johnson said. “The letter said 500 feet from where we live now. That doesn’t make sense to me because I don’t even know what it is.”
