Boise candy shop employing adults with disabilities set to close

For the last seven years, a Boise candy shop has done more than sell sweets — it’s provided employment, training, and community for adults with disabilities.

At the end of the month, owner Cyndy Radovich says Sweet Zola’s, which she named after her daughter, will close its doors due to ongoing financial challenges.

“We have had such amazing community support, and we couldn’t ask for a better support system,” Radovich said. “Ultimately, it was my poor decisions and just lack of funding overall that led to our closure.”…
