AKRON, Ohio (WBKO) — A Bowling Green family is celebrating the holidays at home with their baby boy after a long and unexpected journey that began hundreds of miles away.
Sixx Carter Kline was born in October weighing just 3 pounds, 2.6 ounces—nearly two months before his Dec. 13 due date. His parents, Drew and Dylan Kline, were in Akron, Ohio, for a baby shower when Dylan unexpectedly went into labor.
The timing, they say, may have made all the difference. Sixx was delivered at Akron General Hospital and treated at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
After spending 63 days in the NICU, Sixx was finally cleared to go home. He now weighs 7 pounds, 1.8 ounces and is doing well, according to his family…
