BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved having the county absorb the California City Fire Department.
The county will absorb Cal City’s firefighters and fire department and provide fire protection services to the city in return.
The Cal City Council approved the agreement Dec. 9.
