Third teen arrested in Thanksgiving shooting on Dorchester Road

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Detectives with the North Charleston Police Department arrested a third suspect Tuesday in connection with a Thanksgiving Day shooting at a shopping center.The shooting happened on Dorchester Road just before noon on Thursday, Nov. 27.

Officers arrived and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound and nearby property that had been damaged by gunfire, according to the North Charleston Police Department. The injured woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Damain Richard Criswell, Taurean Jaden Smith, and Kyran La’Mond Williams Jr., all 18 years old, are facing charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and three counts of first-degree assault…
