LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – UVA Health is expanding its health care services in Zion Crossroads, just off exit 136 on I-64, adding 50,000 appointments a year across a wide array of specialties and primary care.
UVA Health’s Chief Ambulatory Officer John Bennett said he has been looking forward to this expansion and the hospital system has more like it planned in the Charlottesville area.
“There’s been a demand of services that have increased there as the population has grown east of Charlottesville in that area of Zion Crossroads. And so we’ve been watching that and monitoring it and have made the decision to expand there based upon that need,” Bennett said…
