Jail Conducts Coat, Hoodie Drive For School Students

FARMVILLE — Piedmont Regional Jail has concluded a community Coat and Hoodie Drive benefiting students in Prince Edward County Public Schools.

The initiative, led by Director of Compliance Bridgett Tisdale and Reentry Counselor Crystal Knight, ran from October 27, 2025, through December 1, 2025, and collected new and gently-used winter clothing for local families.

All donated items were sorted, cleaned, and then packed up by PECPS Superintendent Dr. Chip Jones and Letina Giles for distribution to students in need…
