Man charged in shooting during fight at Food Lion over turkey has warrant out for arrest after missing court appearance, documents show

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A man charged in connection to a shooting involving an argument over a turkey in a High Point Food Lion last month has a warrant out for his arrest after not showing up to his court appearance on Monday, according to the order for arrest.

Around 6:05 p.m. on Nov. 13, patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the Food Lion on 2705 N. Main St.

When officers arrived, they found one man, later identified as Antonio Johnson, 55, of High Point, who had been shot in the arm. He was then taken to a hospital.
