A fatal hit-and-run incident on Clinton Highway has led to the arrest of 57-year-old Steven Dockery from Knoxville. According to a social media post by the Knoxville Police Department, the collision occurred on the afternoon of December 13, 2025, involving a motorcycle and a black Chevrolet Uplander.
During the incident, which took place around 4:20 p.m., the motorcycle driver, an adult male, suffered critical injuries after his bike collided with the passenger side of the Uplander. The driver of the Uplander, which was making a left turn onto Bradshaw Garden Road at the time, fled the scene following the crash. Later, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
