Lancaster County man sentenced to prison after assaulting woman, secretly photographing juveniles

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lancaster County man was sentenced to up to two years in prison for assaulting a woman, attempting to coerce her to change her story, and secretly photographing a juvenile.

Anthony John Valente, of Salisbury Township, was sentenced after pleading guilty on November 18 to simple assault, intimidating a witness, and invasion of privacy, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

The DA’s Office says Valente, 40, first assaulted the victim at a residence in the 300 block of Village Spring Lane in West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, in July 2024. The office says Valente called the victim and her family 25 times while in prison, which violated his bail conditions…
