Winter Haven traffic stop ends in felony charges when all occupants are found with cocaine

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — The Winter Haven Police Department said three people are facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of cocaine in their vehicle.

At around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, an officer pulled over a Jeep Gladiator after the driver made an improper turn near the intersection of First Street North and Avenue R NE in Winter Haven.

As the officer approached the car, he noticed a clear glass pipe in plain view in the center console and asked the occupants to step out of the car.
