Louisville police release images of man wanted in 2022 Shelby Park homicide investigation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville released images of a suspect in the 2022 shooting death of a 42-year-old man in the Shelby Park neighborhood.

Surveillance cameras captured a man running near the scene of the shooting, which happened just before 10 a.m. March 1, 2022. Louisville Metro Police officers were called to a home on Clay Street, near Camp Street to find the victim shot.

Nicholas Clay was transported to the hospital, where he was where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. At the time, police said Clay lived in the area but the shooting appeared to be random…
