NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man is in the hospital after he was struck by a pickup truck over the weekend, the Newport News Police Department said.
The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday in the area of Warwick Boulevard and Campbell Road. Police said that based on a preliminary investigation, a man was crossing Warwick Boulevard when he was hit by a truck that was driving northbound on Warwick Boulevard.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries…
