EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 55-year-old man was arrested on Monday, Dec. 15, after a dog was found dead outside a home in Canutillo, and more animals were found in poor condition, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO).
On Monday, deputies assisted the El Paso County Animal Welfare Unit with an animal cruelty investigation at a home located at the 400 block of Elk Way in Canutillo.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a deceased dog outside the home and more animals in poor condition. Following the investigation, 55-year-old Juan Gutierrez was arrested for cruelty to non-livestock animals, according to EPCSO…
