NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell will avoid a public hearing on her finances after a New Orleans attorney said her court-ordered attorney fees were paid.
Earlier this month, attorney Justin Schmidt asked an Orleans Parish Civil District Court judge to force Cantrell to publicly explain her finances and produce financial records because she had not paid Schmidt $9,763.94.
