WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Residents along Old Manor Road in northeast Wichita have been puzzled by ongoing construction in their neighborhood, with some finding materials placed in their yards without notice or explanation.
Kenneth Woodard contacted FactFinder after mysterious large pipes were left in his front yard for three weeks with no communication from workers or the city.
“They’ve been here a better part of three weeks. When they first came in to set them down, we thought, ‘well maybe they’ll put them on the side of the street,’ but then they put them in our yard and didn’t say a word. Just put them there. And so maybe they’ll come back… We haven’t seen them,” Woodard said.
