ROY, Utah (ABC4) — A Roy family has been forced to vacate a home days after signing a lease, getting a key, and beginning to move in, because the lease they signed was with a scammer, not the actual owner.
Faith Arndt spoke to ABC4 about the scam and the financial and emotional toll it’s taken on her entire family.
“We needed just like a bigger place for our kids. We’ve got three, two dogs, and this house had four bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is just ideal so all of our kids could have a room to themselves,” she said.
