The Glendale Walmart Supercenter at 5010 N. 95th Avenue celebrated the store’s grand re-opening Dec. 12 following a $15-million remodel.
During the celebration, Glendale store manager Joseph Champey highlighted the new customer-focused features and amenities, including:
- A newly painted building inside and out and new landscaping.
- Additional grocery aisles.
- Brand new pickup and delivery offerings.
- Fully remodeled bathrooms, and the addition of a new mother’s room.
- Increased products grocery, hardware, health and beauty, home, pets, pharmacy, sporting goods and more.
- New flooring.
- New lighting and signage.
- A new pharmacy layout
- A remodeled break room for store associates
- State-of-the-art electronics department with new interactive displays
- An upgraded deli and bakery areas
“Our Glendale Walmart has been part of the bustling Glendale Entertainment District since 2003,” Champey stated in a press release. “We are excited offer all our customers greater convenience and an enhanced shopping environment with bright new signage, new landscaping and of course our beautiful new mural.”…
