RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Washoe County Board of Commissioners has voted unanimously to uphold the denial of a permit to build a 15,000 square foot church in Golden Valley.
Residents who would have resided near the church had opposed the construction of the Sanctuary of God Church, saying a facility that size was not compatible with the single-family homes in the area.
