SPOKANE, Wash. — An anonymous donor’s historic donation will ensure the future of Spokane’s historic Campbell House.
Tuesday, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (The MAC) announced a $1,000,000 donation to the MAC Foundation. The gift will fund a new curator position for the Campbell House, Washington State’s oldest and best-preserved historic home open to the public.
“It’s the largest single donation that’s been made to the Campbell House,” said executive director Wesley Jessup. “It’s an incredible gift that will ensure the Campbell House has a curator into the future. The Campbell House is a living treasure of Spokane’s history. This gift ensures a dedicated curator whose work will sustain this legacy and expand educational opportunities for visitors.”…
