Watervliet, NY (WRGB) — Three men were arrested Tuesday on felony gun possession charges after a home visit conducted by Albany County Sheriff’s deputies and New York State Parole, authorities said.
According to Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple, Sr., deputies were assisting parole officers at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 at a home on Fifth Avenue in Watervliet. During a search of the home, deputies found a loaded 9mm gun equipped with a large-capacity ammunition feeding device inside a bedroom.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that 24-year-old Sean Albea of Watervliet; 20-year-old Malachi Perry of Rensselaer; and 23-year-old Esiah Lewis of Troy, were all in possession of the firearm at the time of the home visit.
All three men were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class C felony, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, class D felonies…
