KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A 33-year-old Washington, D.C., man is in a Florida jail after his 20-month-old daughter drowned in his arms in a hot tub while on vacation, according to Osceola County deputies.
Deputies responded shortly after 3:30 a.m. Saturday to a home off Nice Court in Kissimmee. Paramedics rushed the toddler to a hospital, but she died about an hour later.
According to the arrest affidavit, the father, Reynard Tyrone Hough, admitted he had been drinking and had ingested “two different types of unknown narcotics” during the night.
