CLEVELAND — A former nursing assistant accused of stealing identities and credit cards from residents at a Westlake nursing home faced a judge Tuesday.
Sheila Villanueva, who worked as a state-tested nursing assistant at Rae Ann Suburban Nursing and Rehabilitation on Detroit Road, was indicted in Nov. on 14 counts — seven counts of identity fraud and seven counts of receiving stolen property.
Investigators say Villanueva stole from at least eight residents and used their credit cards at restaurants, on DoorDash, Amazon, and even the Children’s Museum of Cleveland. Detectives say surveillance photos show her shopping at Whole Foods with her child using one of the stolen cards…
