A fire broke out at a Durham motel Wednesday morning, prompting an evacuation of the building.
It happened around 9 a.m. at the Super 8 Motel on Guess Road. The Durham Fire Department (DFD) reported that the first crew on the scene observed smoke coming from the roof.
