A driver was arrested on suspicion of hit and run after a passenger “exited” the moving car in San Jose and died from major injuries, police said.
San Jose police responded to the 4900 block of McCoy Avenue around 6:30 p.m. for a report of a possible hit and run involving a pedestrian. Officers found a man suffering from major injuries in the eastbound lane of McCoy Avenue, where he was subsequently declared dead.
