Early Monday morning, a business robbery took a brazen turn when an armed suspect forced employees of One and Only BBQ to hand over company cash. According to the Memphis Police Department, the robbery occurred at 153 Timber Creek Drive, unfolding just after 6 a.m. An employee faced the grim start to their day as the suspect, wielding a black handgun, corralled them into the business.
The suspect, described as a Black male with a heavy build and an estimated age range of 30 to 60, instructed the workers to fill a bag with the business’s funds before fleeing in a stolen employee vehicle. The car was found abandoned nearby, a short time later, by officers responding to the scene.
