Fresh pasta and classic Italian dishes are on their way to St. Pete. Fusillo Italian Pasta announced it’s opening soon at 905 Central Ave., bringing a new fast-casual concept to the EDGE District.
The Italian kitchen promises pasta dishes that are prepared as fresh as they are fast, while sticking to authentic Italian recipes and al dente pasta, “just like Nonna made it.” Fusillo is the dream of two Italians, Alessandro and Giangiacomo, whose goal is to bring “the taste of home across the ocean.”
Details are still limited, but the emphasis is on simple pasta dishes made with fresh ingredients. The duo promises 100% Italian dishes ready in minutes, with pasta made fresh daily. While there’s room for in-restaurant dining, Fusillo is also promoting its meals as perfect for on-the-go diners. Picking up a bowl of carbonara on the way home sounds pretty great to us…
