(KRON) — A woman has been arrested and charged with felony hit-and-run in an unusual traffic fatality, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Officers responded at about 6:28 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, to the 4900 block of McCoy Avenue after receiving a report of a possible hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they found a man in the eastbound lane of McCoy Avenue suffering from major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the SJPD Traffic Investigations Unit began investigating and determined the man had been a passenger in a 2018 black Chevrolet Volt driven by a woman.
