The Lafayette City Council deferred a decision on a conditional use permit for a convenience store with gas sales at the intersection of Foreman Drive and Dulles Drive.
The decision is now scheduled for the Jan. 20 council meeting to allow more time for the council, the prospective property owner, and the surrounding neighborhoods to reach a compromise regarding the property that currently houses The Corner Pantry.
That compromise could include reduced lighting and noise levels and limited operating hours…
