Highway 412 reopened after semi truck crash

Semi crash shuts down eastbound Highway 412 near 265th E. Ave.

Eastbound lanes of Highway 412 were shut down near 265th East Avenue after a crash involving a semi truck and a pickup Wednesday morning. Officials have cleared the trucks and reopened the highway.

Authorities said the semi was hauling about 70,000 pounds of produce from California. The driver missed the entrance to the Will Rogers Turnpike, continued east on Highway 412 and attempted to make a U-turn.
