JENKS, OKLA (KTUL) — The Jenks City Council is deliberating on the future of a newly acquired 415-acre ranch property, with plans to potentially transform it into a public park.
After months of community feedback and planning, city leaders are outlining a vision to preserve the natural landscape, expand outdoor recreation, and create a park that reflects community values. The land, purchased from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority in April 2024, includes floodplain areas along Polecat Creek and features ponds, green space, and existing structures.
