SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A 21-year-old is dead and a 23-year-old is behind bars after a fatal crash involving a reportedly intoxicated driver happened in Schleicher County on Dec. 13.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash involved one vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Tundra, and took place at approximately 8:56 a.m. on U.S. Route 190 near milepost 358.
A preliminary investigation into the collision indicated that the vehicle was traveling westbound on U.S. 190 when the driver, identified as 23-year-old Caleb Lee Nolen of Eldorado, “failed to drive in a single lane, crossed the center stripe, rolled over and came to a complete stop upside down in the eastbound lane and improved shoulder facing north.”
