South Dakota teachers are working to ensure students are learning with artificial intelligence rather than letting AI tools do the work of learning for them.
The teachers in our conversation are Gina Benz and Jackie Wilber. Gina Benz has been at the head of the classroom for more than 25 years. She’s a recipient of the Milken Educator Award. Jackie Wilber, Ed.D., is a faculty member at the University of South Dakota’s School of Education. She is the director of the Center for Student and Professional Services.
