LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As Jewish communities around the world gather to celebrate Hanukkah, they’re doing so amidst concerns of rising antisemitism and new fears following a mass shooting in Sydney, Australia, over the weekend. Meanwhile, a Las Vegas valley synagogue is responding with faith, resilience, and a commitment to peace.
“It’s not a time to hide; hiding has never saved the Jews,” said Rabbi Jessica Hutchings of Congregation Ner Tamid.
