Torrential weather left more than 200,000 people without power in northern Oregon and southern Washington

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Sweeping blackouts left as more than 200,000 people across northern Oregon and southern Washington without power Wednesday morning.

Portland General Electric reported that 94,848 customers were without power as of 9 a.m.

Pacific Power reported that 44,294 people were without power in Oregon at 9 a.m., slightly down earlier in the morning. Most of the outages were concentrated near Astoria, Corvallis and Lebanon…
