Police release details on Accabee Road shooting that left one injured

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The North Charleston Police Department has released an incident report, giving additional details in the Accabee Road shooting that injured one person Tuesday night.

According to the report, at 4:36 p.m. a group of people in a truck flagged down an officer and stated that one of the individuals with them had been shot. Officers observed a victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the back of the truck.

In statements from the witnesses, the group had been heading back from a job site in Goose Creek when they traveled to the incident location to drop one of the passengers off. After dropping the individual off, the witnesses continued on, passing the incident location to drop the victim off at their residence when the back window to the vehicle shattered…
