RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina health officials are warning travelers of a possible measles exposure at Raleigh-Durham International Airport after a person with a confirmed case traveled through the airport last week while infectious.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and Wake County Public Health said the individual traveled through Terminal 2 at RDU for an early morning flight on Dec. 10. The person is a resident of another state. Officials said no additional details will be released to protect the individual’s privacy.
Health officials said there is no known health risk at the airport at this time, but anyone who was in Terminal 2 between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, could have been exposed…
