FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – At least 25 police vehicles chased a suspect down Highway 99 toward Fresno, slowing traffic down to a standstill on Wednesday.
Patrol vehicles with the California Highway Patrol, as well as other law enforcement agencies, were seen following a white car along several highways on Wednesday afternoon.
During the pursuit, law enforcement officials made several attempts to stop the vehicle. Cameras set up along the highway showed a spike strip being used, but the suspect vehicle was apparently able to avoid the spikes.
