Stuck on the Job: Louisville Firefighters Rescue Police Officers From Stalled Elevator

A group of Louisville police officers got some help from their fellow first responders Saturday night after becoming stuck in a stalled elevator.

The Louisville Fire Department was called to assist and safely help the four officers out. Before the rescue, fire crews snapped a photo and shared it on social media, poking fun at the situation, WLKY reports.

“When Louisville Metro Police Department said they were ‘on the case,’ we didn’t realize they meant inside it,” LFD wrote on Facebook, adding the hashtags #FireVsPolice and #CopsHaveHeroesToo.
