A chaotic scene unfolded at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Marcos on Monday when a woman reportedly attempted to use her car as a weapon against hospital security guards. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, calls came in around 11:00 a.m. reporting that a woman was driving erratically, hitting parked cars, and then aiming her vehicle at two security guards who intervened. The guards managed to escape harm as the suspect fled the scene.
The incident prompted an intense response from local law enforcement. Nearly two hours later, the suspect was spotted on State Route 78 in Vista, where deputies attempted a traffic stop.
