SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department said a man was taken into custody following a standoff on Wednesday.
The police department said officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Richardson Avenue around 12:45 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident. That report indicated that there were weapons inside the home.
Syracuse Police said the subject barricaded himself inside the address. This prompted a response from the SWAT Team. Richardson Avenue was shut down as law enforcement operated at the scene. The public was asked to stay away from the area…
