AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A new restaurant in Amarillo is introducing a blend of coastal Mexican-inspired dishes to the local dining scene.
El Agasajo, which opened in August, features a menu centered around seafood, grilled specialties and classic Mexican plates. Staff members said the goal is to bring flavors not commonly found in Amarillo, while also offering familiar options for customers who may not eat seafood.
“This is a seafood place. We have a variety of seafood as well as Mexican dishes, enchiladas. If you’re not a seafood person, they offer the mariscadas ceviche, just your authentic seafood plate,” said server Itzel Sanchez.
