LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Rutabagas Comfort Food, a vegan restaurant located at Meadowlane Shopping Center, announced it will be closing to pivot to its roots as a pop-up.
The last day Rutabagas will operate as a restaurant will be Jan. 4. The food truck will continue to travel around town at community events, and the restaurant will still offer catering options.
Additionally, Rutabagas will host single night pop-ups around Lincoln and in its current space with smaller, intentionally curated menus. Cooking classes will also return, and customers can still count on brunch every first Sunday of the month…
