Northern Illinois Could Now See a Shockingly Warm Christmas

Just when you thought you knew what to expect for a Christmas in Northern Illinois, think again. I guess expectations should be thrown out the window when you get a foot of snow on Thanksgiving weekend, right?

Now I am totally cherry-picking here, mainly because I want a nice and warm, well, everything, but Mike Caplan at Fox 32 in Chicago shared a couple of screenshots on Facebook that made my jaw drop.

Sixty-three degrees for a high in Rockford on Christmas Day is not something you’d see very often, and if I’m being honest, it sounds totally awesome. If I had a Christmas wish, this kind of temperature would totally be it, as it’s only a few ticks off an absolutely perfect day…
