A Sterling High School student died Wednesday after reportedly being stabbed by another student during a fight, according to Goose Creek CISD.
The student had been in critical condition and taken to the Texas Medical Center via Life Flight, the Baytown Fire Department said. Another student was in police custody, the district said, but declined to provide any additional details.
“We ask the Goose Creek community to join us in supporting all students and staff in the aftermath of this tragedy, but particularly the family of the student who lost his life,” the district said in a statement. “Additional information about support and resources is being provided to parents and students.”…
