POWELL, Tenn. (WATE) — A new Whataburger is scheduled to open on Emory Road in Powell on Monday, according to a press release.
This new restaurant is at 500 E. Emory Road, has 60 local employees, and interior digital menu boards inside, the release said. It added that “Powell is splashed across the wall.”

6 News previously reported on plans for the franchise to open three locations in the Knoxville area. The first opened in August on Cumberland Avenue near the University of Tennessee. The next opened on Turkey Creek in November.
