JOHNSTON COUNTY — A rash of vehicle break-ins has been solved thanks in part to a routine traffic stop by Zebulon Police.
Authorities say two suspects are now in custody in connection with approximately 23 car break-ins reported in late November. The incidents occurred primarily along Castleberry Road east of Clayton and in the Archer Lodge community.
The break-ins were reported over a short period of time and involved unlocked vehicles parked at residences, according to investigators.
